AI Tools Guidelines for Authors

Guidelines for Paper Submission

Ethical Use Statement

Generative AI (GenAI) tools have brought significant convenience to academic research and paper writing. However, authors must ensure the authenticity, accuracy, and originality of generated content while disclosing usage transparently to avoid ethical risks.

1. Language and Format Editing

Tools like GPT or Grammarly may be used for improving grammar and formatting. However, authors must manually review content for errors, logic issues, or biases introduced by these tools.

2. Review of Content Accuracy and Originality

Authors must verify the accuracy of AI-generated citations, abstracts, and data. All references must be valid, and plagiarism detection tools should be used to ensure originality.

3. Review of Charts and Data

AI-generated charts must reflect the actual data accurately. Mislabeling, misleading visuals, or manipulation should be avoided. Authors are required to manually check these representations.

4. Transparency and Disclosure

All uses of GenAI tools must be disclosed in the Methodology or Acknowledgement section. Clearly mention the tool’s name, version, and purpose (e.g., spelling correction, data analysis, image processing).

5. Prohibition of Data Synthesis and Manipulation

Authors must not use AI to create or alter data or images to misrepresent research outcomes. Doing so violates academic integrity and may lead to rejection or sanctions.
